What's New in Chamberly: June 2026

June was our busiest month yet: standalone sponsorships, first rights on everything, event cloning, a rebuilt email editor, order approvals, sponsorship disclaimers, share kits, and event galleries.

What's New in Chamberly: June 2026

June was the busiest month since launch. We shipped thirteen releases, most of them driven directly by requests from chamber teams getting ready for their fall events. Here's the roundup. As always, the full list lives on the changelog.

Sponsorships don't have to live inside an event

Not every sponsorship is tied to a date on the calendar. Newsletter sponsors, program underwriters, and annual partner levels all needed a home. As of early June, you can create standalone sponsorships that sit right alongside event sponsorships on your storefront, with the same checkout and reporting.

Alongside that:

  • First right of refusal now applies to every sponsorship, not just event-based ones, including carryover from annual to monthly sponsorships.
  • Storefront filters were reworked to handle events and standalone items together, and the category filter is a single, simpler axis again.
  • Sponsors on event pages are listed alphabetically within each exposure tier.

Clone an entire event

Most chambers run the same signature events every year. You can now clone an event, including all of its sponsorships, in one action. Adjust the dates and prices and you're ready to go, instead of rebuilding twenty sponsorships by hand.

A new email editor

We replaced the block email builder with a rebuilt drag-and-drop editor based on React Email. It's faster, easier to lay out, and produces cleaner emails across inboxes. Related email work this month:

  • Every email now includes a plain-text version, which helps deliverability.
  • Campaign email templates: save a campaign you like and start new sends from it.
  • Template customizations no longer reset unexpectedly, and test emails render with sample data instead of empty fields.
  • The {org_email}, {org_phone}, and {org_address} merge tags now pull from your chamber's contact information.

Order approvals

Some chambers want to review a sponsorship order before anyone is charged. The new order approval lock holds an order for staff review before payment goes through.

Sponsorship disclaimers

Some sponsorships come with requirements beyond payment: provide your banner by a deadline, bring your own materials, send a logo in a specific format. You can now attach disclaimers to a sponsorship, with merge tags like {business_name}.

  • Members must check off every requirement before they reserve or pay, on the cart, checkout, and quick-reserve.
  • Each acknowledgment is recorded with a timestamp and appears on the order's activity timeline and confirmation email.
  • Disclaimers live in a reusable library, the same way benefits do.

Share kits for events and packages

Getting the word out is half of selling. This month added:

  • An event share kit: a PDF flyer, a QR code, and one-click Facebook sharing.
  • A package share dialog: assign a package to a member, copy a link, or email it directly.
  • Package flyers: a polished PDF one-pager with bundle descriptions, a tiered sponsor showcase, and an optional custom graphic.

Invites and member management

  • Bulk member invites from the members table, with a "select all" that spans every page of results.
  • Invite links now survive corporate email security scanners that used to open them before the member could.
  • Welcome emails link straight to password setup, and expired set-password links can request a fresh one.
  • A faster members dashboard with a "Resend invite" row action.
  • Disable and re-enable members as a reversible lockout, and disable a whole business to pause its transactions without deleting anything.
  • Members can update their own business logo from their profile.

Event galleries

Nothing sells next year's event like photos from last year's. Each event now has a gallery for past-year photos and videos, including YouTube and Vimeo embeds, shown on the public event page.

Smaller improvements

  • "Reserve beyond first rights" keeps a hold active after the first-rights window closes.
  • An event's photo automatically carries over to all of its linked sponsorships.
  • Members can remove part of a bundle from their cart, and the bundle discount drops automatically.
  • Optional Categories menu and a "NEW" badge on the storefront.
  • The leaderboard respects each location's show or hide setting correctly.
  • Event flyers no longer crop the banner image.

What's next

July's focus is making it easier to share and promote individual sponsorships, and giving chambers more control over the order sponsorships appear in. If there's something you'd like us to prioritize, let us know. The roadmap follows what chamber teams tell us they need.
