What's new in Chamberly: May 2026
Our first month after launch: a live Playground demo chamber, a reusable benefits library, one-click sponsorship cloning, unlimited inventory, and a round of reliability fixes.

May was our first month as a generally available product. We launched on May 1 and then spent the rest of the month doing what you do after a launch: listening, fixing, and shipping the small things chambers asked for right away.
Here's what changed, grouped by what it means for your team. The full version-by-version record lives on the changelog.
Chamberly is generally available
Version 1.0 went live on May 1 with the core of the platform: a branded sponsorship storefront, events and exposure tiers, online and reservation-mode checkout, first-rights reservations with automated reminders, a sponsor leaderboard, a block-based email builder, reports, CSV and Excel import, and a five-step onboarding wizard. If you missed it, our launch post covers why we built it and what's included.
Building sponsorships faster
A reusable benefits library
Most chambers offer the same benefits over and over: logo on signage, recognition from the podium, a table of eight, social media mentions. Until now, you typed them into each sponsorship. The new benefits library lets you define a benefit once and reuse it across sponsorships and tiers. Change the wording in one place and it updates everywhere.
It also feeds a richer event report, so you can see which benefits you've committed to across an event. That's handy when the signage vendor asks for a logo list.
One-click sponsorship cloning
If you've built a Gold sponsorship for one event and want something nearly identical for another, you can now clone it from the row menu on the sponsorships list. Adjust the name and price and you're done.
Unlimited inventory
Some sponsorships don't have a natural cap: "Friend of the Chamber" at $250, a digital listing, a newsletter shout-out. You can now mark a sponsorship as unlimited so it never sells out.
A live demo anyone can try
We launched the Playground, a live demo chamber with events, sponsorships, and sponsors already loaded. Anyone can click through it without signing up, and it resets every day, so you can't break it. It's also a useful thing to send a board member who wants to see what you're talking about.
We also added a Schedule a Demo page for chambers who'd rather have a walkthrough.
A new look for the admin
The whole admin got restyled mid-month. It's cleaner and denser, which matters when you're scanning a list of 80 sponsorships during event season.
Reliability fixes
The less glamorous work, which is most of what a first month is:
- Event dates are consistent. We fixed a timezone issue where an event could show one date on the storefront and a different date on its event page.
- Imports handle bigger files. Member imports now process in chunks, so large lists go through reliably.
- View As orders are clearer. When staff place an order while viewing as a member, you now choose whether the member gets a confirmation email.
- Team emails work. We repaired team invite and password reset emails and fixed some issues with impersonation.
What we're working on next
A lot of June's work is already underway, driven by what chambers told us in May. The biggest theme: sponsorships that don't belong to a single event, like annual programs and monthly placements. We're also continuing work on native mobile apps for chamber staff.
If there's something your chamber needs, tell us through the contact page. And if you haven't looked yet, the Playground is the fastest way to see where things stand.
